I am passionate about studying the world through the lens of science, space-technology, and sharing what I learn with others. In my pursuit of these, I have earned degrees in engineering, physics and math, worked 4 years in industry for several aerospace startups, and just recently organized, funded, and led the Columbia Space Initiative SatComms project to talk with an astronaut on the ISS with a home-built satellite ground station. Presently, I am a 5th year PhD student in the Applied Physics and Applied Math department studying plasma physics. I spend most of my time working on my research, distracted by side projects, and in the delightful company of my wife and our two cats.
